Background
Hayfield founders Laura and Paul’s thirst for knowledge and adventure led them around the map in search of the perfect pint—from tending orchards to beekeeping in Alaska, studying winemaking in California to savoring cider in the French countryside, and working at meaderies along a 40-state road trip, with two toddlers in tow! But ultimately their passion for cider drew them back to the picturesque prairielands just west of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where their ideas could grow in the familiar earth of their family’s farmland.
